Sagic Proudly Supports The Salvation Army’s Partnership Trophy

Sagic is proud to have sponsored The Salvation Army’s annual Partnership Trophy, a five-a-side football tournament aimed at raising awareness of homelessness and promoting mental well-being. Held in Manchester, this year’s event brought together 30 teams from across the UK, with participants representing individuals currently experiencing homelessness.

Football legends John Hartson and Kyle Walker were special guests at the tournament, taking the time to meet players, share their stories, and lend their support. The Orchard from Bradford emerged victorious, with Hartson presenting the trophy and praising the players' fitness, teamwork, and strong sense of camaraderie.

As a key supporter of the event, Sagic continues its commitment to the charitable work of The Salvation Army. Our sponsorship contributes to meaningful initiatives like this, helping provide not just a day of football, but a message of hope and community for those working to rebuild their lives.

Nathan Slinn, Deputy Director of The Salvation Army’s Homelessness Services, commended the tournament, emphasising its role in boosting morale and celebrating the journey of individuals facing homelessness. He also extended thanks to sponsors, including Sagic, for making the event possible.

Through events like the Partnership Trophy, The Salvation Army demonstrates that tackling homelessness involves more than just providing housing—it’s about offering support, encouragement, and opportunities for personal transformation. At Sagic, we are honoured to be part of this ongoing effort.
